Hello. Welcome to my blog.
My name is Kristen. I’m really not expecting my blog to be made into a movie based on my life or whatever, but for now I’ll just be happy with my thoughts. You know, those things that make opinions or say voices inside your head? Yeah. I know, crazy concept, right? So, I’m not going to try to be super deep or whatever because thats what tons of people like doing nowadays ever since those crazy awful movies came out. This is just a snippet of my life, out there for you to laugh at.
First snippet of the day: the bus. It has been my preferred form of transportation since I could walk, and I’ve gotta say I can’t wait until I have a car so I don’t have to take it all the time. I mean, the way some of the seats look I wouldn’t be surprised if people have been born there. But still, bussing is better then walking to work. Especially when it would take someone like me 6 hours to walk there. But then, when you think about the environment it wouldn’t hurt to bus, or bike even. But sadly, my job entitles me to actually attempt to look decent. And sweat isn’t really the most attractive thing in the world.
Second snippet of my day: back pain. I’ve developed this lovely cough which now makes my back hurt, and I’m not liking it especially when I’m young and in my prime, or so they say. But really, I think your prime is between when you’re four and when you’re ten, because you don’t have pimples or mood swings, your parents pay for everything you need, you don’t have university or work to worry about and all you want to do is be noticed by your mummy. Its pretty cute, not even going to lie about it. As you will notice if you are one of those unfortunate people who keep up with this, I go off topic. A lot.
Third snippet of the day: dairy products. I’m an actress, and I focus mainly on musical theatre, so when you have a show every night for two weeks and can’t have one because you’re the lead and milk doesn’t agree with your vocal chords, its somewhat depressing. All I want is a huge, honkin’ glass of chocolate milk, just for once and then I will smile and sing and dance until this run is over. Which it will be soon, which makes me sad because my cast is pretty much a part of my family now.
Fourth snippet of the day: musicians who THINK they’re deep, but they’re not. Theres this young local musician who, I will admit is pretty darn cute, but at age eighteen he thinks he knows everything there is to know about life. All I can say to him is good luck once you’ve experienced the world for what it really is, not just a pretty picture that is painted until high school and in some cases university finishes.
Okay guys, I think I’m done for the day. Snippets of the day: the bus, back pain, dairy products and musicians. Its pretty safe to say I’m scatterbrained. BUT, I make sense. So… until next time, this is Kristen Duveaux, singing and signing out.
